Last but no Least...Precious~

A sad movie. A story of a young girl being raped by his own father. She is such a pity girl when her mother abuse her. No one loves her. She is precious but no one appreciate her. How I am going to help my students with such situation later? Am I ready enough to lend my shoulders for the student to cry on. I keep thinking about this thing after watched this movie. If the teacher in this movie willing to help Precious am I able o do the same thing? Honestly, up until this moment i still have no answer in my mind.

Great Movies

Most of the movies we watched during tutorial were superb. They were awesome. If I have a chance I will watch it for the second time without doubt. To Miss Amelia and Miss Alicia thank for the effort. I am really appreciate it. Without them I think there is no way we are being able to watch all those amazing movies. All those movies inspired me to be a great teacher.

Regarding my research paper that is the only thing i am doing right now..DRAFTING. Hopefully i can finish the draft soon so i can start writing and the mos important thing is I WANT TO SUBMIT HE RESEARCH PAPER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Hopefully next week i am manage to see my supervisor. Then, I will know whether I can start writing or not.

This is a story of another successful Clark, Ron Clark. He has been through all the hard time during his teaching time. Teaching underprivileged kids is not an easy work to cope with, however his passionate towards teaching bring him to success. He left everything he has, a comfort home and school to teach the helpless class at Harlem. His desire to teach overcome the obstacles that he faces along side the journey. The only thing he wants is to see his students triumph.

I wish as a future teacher I could be like Ron Clark. It is worth to watch this movie as I hope the desire that he has towards teaching will drive me to success in this field.

A Talk

It has been ages since the last time I met with Mr.Vahid. Having him to give a simple talk regarding the position paper is a  bless. At the least, I have some ideas to work on my position paper.Now I have general idea about the position paper. Thank you Mr.vahid for your time and your knowledge.

Work only on two stories. Frankly speaking, i have no idea what to write about. Blank blank blank blank blank! should stop thinking about it for a while.

 

 

Let Us Get Married

'Marriage' is an interesting topic to talk about right? Then how about arranged marriage? Is it an interesting topic too? Most of us get excited when discussing about marriage but how come a person suppose to get married if she or he does not has significant others? It is complicated right? So, if we don't have any (significant others) it means we cannot get married? Is that how it is suppose to be? That is how we come across the words 'arranged marriage'. It means, when you have no significant other, other people especially your family members will try their best to match you with someone. 

As far as I concern, arranged marriage has its positive and negative side. One day, if I have to go through all this arranged marriage thing then I'll try it out. I think it is quite interesting. For people who keep being asking question like 'when are you going to get married, you are getting older?' then they should try. Who knows it might work. 

The most crucial thing is to have a clear view of a marriage. What is marriage is all about. For me, It doesn't matter whether you get married with someone of your own choice or someone that is chosen for you as long as we know our responsibility in the marriage

 

 

The Tale of Sick Lily Pig

We drew a picture of pig today. The picture was nice. The picture is about a piggy named Lily who is suffering from anorexia. The desire to have a slim figure makes the piggy practicing an unhealthy diet.  Through the end, Lily Pig is no longer suffering. She has recover because she now realizes that the diet is not helping her. Instead, her life is miserable because of the diet. That is how our fable goes.

Actually, we have been exposed to fable stories in our previous class. So, for the tutorial we have to come out with our own fable. Thus, after having a short discussion my group decided to write a fable  of a sick pick. There lies a lesson behind our fable. We want teenager out there to be aware of the effect of unbalanced diet.

Trust me!!! Lean on me...

Superb! I like this movie. Joe Clark, even he is harsh but he manages to control the school's environment. He is firm and nobody likes him to be at the school. The teachers, the students all of them at first refuse to give their cooperation.

Problematic students might hate teachers like Joe Clark but the education system needed one like him. This is the only way to overcome the discipline problems at school. Joe Clark is also a good problem solver. For instance, he tries to find the source or the root of the problems like suspended pupils who involved in drugs so it helps to reduce the problem at the school. He is harsh, mean, cruel yet he is a kind principle. Deep inside his heart he loves his students very much. He helps them with their problems. He gives all his best to ensure that the students are motivated to study.

Hope to work and meet teachers a.k.a principles like Joe Clark one day in our education system. It must be an exciting experience to work under the same roof with people who are really concern towards their students welfare.

Women Thought

After watched the movie 'Monalisa Smile' I keep wandering what a woman wants in life actually. How we as 'women' are supposed to life our live in this world. Generally, i like Katherine Ann Willi's characteristics in this movie (played by Julia Robert). She has all the determination in life. However, her determination to change her students perception disgusted me. It cannot be denied that she is trying to bring the girls out from their restricted life but the way she wants them to led their life like her is unacceptable. The girls have their own expectation in life. She as a teacher should guides them, hold their hand and led them to the right path. She cannot decides for them. Let the girls decide for their own selves.

Despite of all, Katherine Ann Willis is able to change her students' thought about life. They become a better woman with a clear need in life.

Akeelah and the Bee

It was a wonderful movie! A story of a smart girl who is gifted with talent to spell any words correctly. The girl's name is Akeelah. Akeelah's enthusiasm to win the spelling contest is amazing. The effort and hard works shown by her inspire me to work harder in order to achieve want i want in my life. Personally, i adore Akeelah's characteristics. She is a small girl but full of spirit n her life.

Remarkable songs

 What kind of songs that leave mark in your heart? As for me, the crucial part of the songs is the lyrics. Lyrics with a meaningful message will be admired by most people. Later, after I was exposed to two songs with different genres my thought  changed. They were 'Alejandro' by Lady Gaga and 'Toumba' by Saieen Zahoor'. The belief that lyrics are everything  is no longer relevance especially when I was listening to the 'Toumba' song. I cannot understand the lyrics of the song still, I enjoyed the song to the fullest. The instruments used by the singer to convey the song is also attractive and unique. Despite of using guitar and all modern instruments the singer prefers something that is traditional and it suits the song well. In the same time, it makes the song remarkable.

 Unlike 'Toumba', the lyrics of 'Alejandro' song is understandable and it does entertain. So, for some people they might adore the song but not for me. The choreography of the song is not prudent and does not suitable for kids. it cannot be denied that the lyrics of this song are catchy but they are not intense. 

what??? GAME....

i never heard about it until  we were asked to play the game during tutorial class by miss Amelia. I am sure many of you never heard about it too.Hehehe..so I am the lucky one to know about it at the first place (proud). Let us not play hide and seek, actually it is a game called 'DROWGAMES'.It was the first time I played the game and to be honest it is quite interesting. It kinds of language game. It test your comprehension of language. I enjoyed playing the game yet I hated it because I lost!!!
